Weekend routine for glowing skin
To have healthy skin, it is necessary to have a good care routine, but a daily routine is not enough: there are fundamental steps that are not for every day. That’s why it’s important to get in the habit of applying them on Saturday or Sunday and make sure you’re giving your skin everything it needs to feel good.
These are the 3 ideal steps to incorporate into your weekend and achieve incredible results on your skin:
Applying Face Scrub
Every minute, we lose thousands and thousands of dead cells that accumulate in our bodies. Therefore, a fundamental product in a good skincare routine is exfoliation :
Renew the skin. Helps remove dead cells. Removes blackheads and pimples, and removes any trace of dirt, leaving skin smooth and radiant. In addition, by exfoliating the skin, you also activate circulation and the lymphatic system, oxygenating the epidermis. Incorporate a weekly exfoliation and you will see huge differences over time.
Apply the product to the clean face and spread it with circular movements, ascending. Thus, you eliminate dead cells and stimulate blood circulation at the same time. In the end, remove the product well with warm water and apply a moisturising cream for a better result.
Its fine particles allow extraordinary cell renewal, even for the most sensitive skin, and aloe vera provides incomparable hydration.
Apply body scrub
When exfoliating the body, pay special attention to the toughest and roughest areas such as the knees, elbows or ankles and avoid sensitive and fine areas.
Pour a little product into your hand and apply it to the area you want to treat. Extend it with circular movements upwards to eliminate dead cells and stimulate blood circulation at the same time.
You can do it with your hands or try dry brushing for a different and complementary sensation. Remove the remains with warm water and then apply a moisturising body cream such as our moisturising body moisturiser with argan oil.
Apply Facemask
Masks are beneficial for all skin types. They provide hydration, remove excess sebum and help your pores look better. Why not take advantage of this moment to turn the moment of the mask into a fun activity and out of the routine?
Clean the skin well before. Apply the mask generously on the face, with a brush or with the fingertips, avoiding the eye contour. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse with plenty of water and with small circular movements.
Do not forget to apply the toner to remove possible remains of the exfoliation and mask. In this way, the moisturiser will have a better effect.
Every skin is different and the best thing you can do is listen to yours. We recommend doing these three steps at least once a week. Depending on the characteristics of your skin and routines, there will be some people who will feel better doing it 2 times a week.
We always say it: perseverance and small habits are the ones that achieve the greatest long-term results. Give your skin this extra care and you will see the changes.
